COVID19 update: University Friends Meeting has suspended operations of its Travelers Rooms until further notice because at this time we are unable to assure compliance with air circulation parameters in the COVID 19 era. We are working to assure the reasonable safety of Quaker House Travelers' Rooms and the safety of other residents in the building as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to open the Travelers rooms safely.
University Friends Meeting welcomes travelers for visits of up to ten nights’ duration in one of our two simple self-service accommodation travelers’ rooms, one with two twin-size beds and one with one full-size bed. Bedding, towels, and hair dryer are provided. The rooms share a separate private entrance to the building. A shared bathroom, small fridge, microwave, and tea kettle are available to visitors.
A donation is requested to help us maintain this service. Requested donations are $40-60/night for one person, and $50-70/night for two people sharing a room. For reservations, email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to make your donation by credit card, payment using this link is due when you make your reservation. If you plan to donate at the time of your visit, payment may be made by check or cash. Thank you
The Travelers’ Rooms are located on the ground floor of Quaker House, a 3-story home built in 1904. Our Facilities Manager resides in an apartment on the ground floor adjacent to the Travelers’ Rooms. The upper floors house 5 or 6 young people participating in University Friends Meeting’s Quaker Experiential Service and Training Program (QuEST).
